Another highly successful Kampala Thanksgiving! This year, hosted by Sahar and John, with a whopping 18 people, 23 lb turkey, 4 kinds of stuffing, 3 types of cornbread, cranberry sauce, green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, peas, carrots, gravy, fish for the pescetarians, and SEVEN kinds of dessert. Of course, no Thanksgiving is complete without construction paper hand turkeys, so we had those, too.

As has become tradition, everyone participated in the circle of thanks, which, as has also become tradition, had its moments of hilarity, solemnity, and awkwardness. Special thanks to our couples of varying degrees of commitment for the latter.
